Sometimes a video appointment with your doctor might be a better option than coming in to the practice.

First step:  decide if you’ll be doing your video consultation on either an iPhone or iPad; or any other device (smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer). Once decided, follow the below steps.

 

iPhone or iPad

1. At least one hour before your consult, download the free doxy.me app from your app store

2. 5 minutes before, launch app and click ‘patient’

3. ‘Enter Room URL’ – type the URL for the doctor you are seeing from the list below

4. Type your name to sign in to the waiting room

5. Find and quiet and private space. At the time of your appointment your doctor will initiate the video consultation

 

Phone, Tablet, Laptop or Computer

1. Open either Chrome or Firefox – if you don’t have either of these web browsers installed, you can download one from the links below

2. Five minutes before your consult, click the URL from the list below for your doctor

3. Type your name to sign in to the waiting room

4. Allow your browser to use your webcam and microphone – you will recieve a prompt from the waiting room site

5. Find a quiet and private space. At the time of your appointment your doctor will initiate the video consultation.

The charge for this consultation is the same as a standard fee. An invoice will be sent to you via email after the consultation (on that same day). After 7 days account fees will apply.
