Important Information about fees and appointments

FEES & POLICIES

  • Fees & Payments

Payment is required on the day of your appointment. We accept EFTPOS, cash, credit card (surcharge of 2.5% applies), and online payments.

  • ACC Surcharge 

ACC helps cover part of your visit,  a surcharge applies to cover the remaining cost.

  • Non Funded Services

Some services, such as prescriptions, referrals, and medical forms are not funded and incur a fee. These requests require clinical time, review, and administration by your doctor. Fees vary depending on complexity.

  • Community Services Card holders (CSC)

CSC holders are charged $20 for a standard 15-minute consultation.

Discounted rates may also apply to non-funded services.

  • Southern Cross Easy Claim

We offer Easy Claim with Southern Cross Health Insurance. If you are a member and your details are recorded with us, we will submit the claim on your behalf at the time of your visit.

Please note that the amount covered depends on your individual policy. Please contact Southern Cross directly for any questions about your cover. 

  • Cancelations & Missed Appointments

If you need to cancel your appointment, please notify us at least 1 hour in advance so we can offer the  slot to another patient.  You can cancel by phone or email. Failure to notify us may result in being charged the standard consultation fee. 

  • Support During Your Visit

You're welcome to bring a support person to your appointment.

Our staff are also available to support you during your visit if needed. 

  • Interpreting Services

Interpreting services are available and must be arranged prior to your appointment. Please inform us at the time of booking so we can organize this for you.

  • Referrals & Radiology Bookings

Your doctor may refer you for specialist or radiology services. These services are managed by third-party providers, who will usually contact you directly to arrange your appointment. If you do not hear from them, please contact the provider to organize this.
